Valuable Related Text Search Feature Launched on Noor Digital Library

Introduction to Noorlib

According to Noorsoft, the Noor Digital Library (Noorlib), with a decade of experience and containing over 22,400 specialized books in the fields of Islamic and human sciences, strives to enable users to access their needed resources in the fastest and easiest possible way by utilizing the most up-to-date software technologies.

New Feature

In this regard, through the efforts of the technical experts at the Noor Computer Research Center for Islamic Sciences (Noor), and aiming to improve the quality of text search user experience in Noorlib, the Related Text Search feature has been launched and made available to researchers.

How It Works

With this feature, the database allows users to select a text from their desired book and click on the "Related Finder" (Mordet Yab) icon to find and retrieve similar instances of the selected text in other resources.

Results Display

It is worth noting that in this feature, the presented results are distinguished from each other using different colors according to the degree of semantic similarity with the target text and are displayed based on the highest relevance.
